Gentlemen, I created a user account for you today that should allow you access to the Flock database. The link is only good for 24 hours so please log in to create your password today. If you miss the window let me know and I can reactivate it. We are currently operating under their free plan so we don't have full access at this time to all the tools the system is capable of. We are working towards that goal though. The recently adopted policy requires some system training. We are accomplishing that by having users go through the training materials created by Flock. Once you are logged in you will find a small blue robot face in the lower right corner of the screen. Clicking on the robot will make a pop-up list appear. Watch the videos under the "Search" tab and then you can take the "Search Tool Certification Program" test under the Certifications tab. Once you pass the test they will e-mail you a certificate in a few days. Throw that certification in Sergeant Ham's box for your training file. The most important thing to highlight with the system is that we will treat it as "right to know, need to know" information like CLETS info. Each search must have a case/incident number and reason associated with it for auditing purposes. If you have any issues or concerns let me know. Once we get the patrol sergeants onboard we will start trying to push this out to the patrol staff. -- Captain Jarret Benov Amador County Sheriff's Office Operations Division 700 Court Street Jackson CA 95642 209-223-6787 (Desk) 209-223-1609 (FAX)
