Hello Undersheriff Benov,

At Flock Safety, we are committed to ensuring that you have seamless access to all learning resources, including our Help Center, which offers step-by-step articles, and Flock Academy, which provides a variety of courses to help you navigate Flock effectively.

As part of our ongoing evaluation of these tools, we have received requests for the ability to assign Flock Academy courses to team members. Currently, this functionality is limited due to the way users log in. To address this request, we will be changing the login method for Flock Academy.

This update will also:

  *   Minimize issues with certificate generation,
  *   Enable internal admins to be promoted to Manager roles in Flock Academy (instructions to follow later this year), and
  *   Ensure that user profiles display complete name information.



Important Details:

  *   Effective January 30th, 2026, Single Sign-On (SSO) will no longer be used to access Flock Academy.
  *   When you click on Flock Academy, you will be directed to a login page.

  *   Click on “Forgot my password”.

  *   Please use the email address associated with your Flock account; do not use any other personal email.

  *   You’ll receive an email to “Activate Account” with Flock Academy.

  *   Once you click on “Activate Account”, you’ll be prompted to update your password. Take this time to also update your profile information such as your First Name and Last Name. This is an important step to ensure your certificates print out correctly.

For all new users moving forward, they will receive an email being welcomed to Flock Academy and will follow the instructions on setting up their profile. This will take approximately 2-3 hours to receive.
