About these timing indicators

California Government Code § 7922.535 generally provides 10 calendar days after an agency receives a request for a determination, with up to 14 additional days where a qualifying written extension applies. A determination is different from completion of a records production. Timing uses a documented submission date only when it is available; the precise receipt date may remain unverified. A response badge records correspondence in the archive, not a legal conclusion that all requested records were produced. Read the statute.

Earlier request history is incomplete

A July 20, 2026 records production is referenced in Planning's later correspondence. The complete original request and response are not verified in this archive, so this reference is not counted as a second documented request. A requester-identifying earlier public-comment file is not linked here pending a privacy-reviewed replacement.

The publicly linked request synopsis and response excerpts are privacy-minimized archive derivatives, not unredacted original EML files. Further verified request-and-response pairs will be added as they become available.
