Changes to the archive, new records, and corrections.
The archive now preserves the September 8 Planning Commission hearing, a timestamped working transcript, and a new report explaining the appeal window and what could happen next. The Commission unanimously found the proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration inadequate and then unanimously denied UP-22;2-3.
The August 12 updated-log request is now marked satisfied after clarification of the requested report type. The September 2 production includes a detailed hotlist source-type CSV, an alerts-by-topic workbook, and a 30-day vehicle-volume workbook. The two alert exports independently total 597 alerts; the vehicle-volume workbook records 712,694 reads from August 2 through August 31.

The site now includes a third active collection, beginning with two August 26 CPRA requests to the Sheriff’s Office and Probation Department concerning registration, supervision, residence verification, compliance, enforcement, interagency coordination, and existing aggregate records.
Two August 26 public-records requests are now tracked in a dedicated collection: one to the Sheriff’s Office concerning registration, residence verification, compliance and enforcement; and one to Probation concerning supervision, residence verification, standard conditions, compliance, and interagency coordination. Both are pending in the published record.
The archive now includes August 12–13 replies from Supervisors Jeff Brown, Pat Crew, and Dan Epperson following the August 11 Board discussion. Readable PDFs and redacted EML derivatives are published in the Flock collection; two private-residence Megan’s Law map screenshots from Brown’s email are intentionally omitted from the public derivatives.
County Counsel Greg Gillott responded to an August 26 follow-up on the July 30 policy-compliance notice, stating that Sheriff’s Office command staff are actively revising the ALPR policy, are following SB 1013 for possible additional changes, and will publish the revised policy once finalized.
The archive now includes the Sheriff’s August 24 spreadsheet production, the accompanying withholding language, a neutral comparison showing a higher share of administrative delete rows in the newer period, and the response/clarification sequence concerning the two uninstalled camera locations.
The archive now tracks the August 12 request for an updated Flock event log, the August 13 request for Flock-related social-media direct messages, the Sheriff’s August 18 no-responsive-records response to the social-media request, and the August 21 follow-up on the two remaining camera locations.
The archive now includes manually reviewed working transcripts for the February 25, 2025 and August 11, 2026 Board meetings, direct links to the original YouTube videos, and a new report comparing the Sheriff’s August presentation with contracts, policy, usage data, camera locations, sharing records, and the prior consent-calendar approval process.
County Counsel responded to the five-part July 28 request. The Sheriff reported no private-camera records, produced one newly located ACSO–Flock email chain, reported no additional competitor-research records, and County Counsel raised an attorney-client/work-product privilege objection for the legal-review item and said no additional responsive records were identified.
The new request asks only for records sufficient to identify the planned or current location of each of the two installations referenced in the July 27 Flock email.
Track the pending requestA formal requester-authored notice asked the County to address four areas: public ALPR procedures, periodic audits, data-error correction, and retention/destruction. The archive now publishes a privacy-sanitized notice, electronic-transmission record, exhibits, and a separate source-linked report.
167 original files, 146 converted emails, a 37-item response matrix, and focused reports were added to the archive.
A five-part request was submitted addressing private-camera access, expansion products, missing outbound emails, competitor research, and constitutional or privacy review. It received a County Counsel response on August 10.
