About these timing indicators

California Government Code § 7922.535 generally provides 10 calendar days after agency receipt for a determination, with up to 14 additional days when the agency provides a qualifying written extension notice. These are not fixed production deadlines. The badges calculate elapsed time from the listed sent date unless receipt is confirmed; a sent email alone does not establish delivery. A red indicator flags that the usual determination window has passed without a documented determination, not a judicial finding of a CPRA violation. This archive is updated when correspondence is supplied, not directly from agency systems. Read the statute.
