Why the request was filed
County financial records showed Axon transactions associated with invoices INUS377690 and INUS465189. The September 16 request sought the underlying records needed to identify what products, equipment, licenses, subscriptions, services, and other items were purchased.
Requested records
- Contracts, master service/purchasing agreements, amendments, renewals, quotes, proposals, order forms, and equipment/subscription schedules.
- Complete Axon invoices, including INUS377690 and INUS465189.
- Purchase orders, requisitions, vouchers, payment authorizations, check/AP records, and supporting payment documents.
- Itemized product/equipment lists, including model names, quantities, prices, serial numbers where maintained, licenses, subscriptions, warranties, accessories, and service plans.
- Records identifying whether purchases involve TASERs, body-worn cameras, in-car cameras, evidence-management systems, software, cloud storage, digital evidence services, training, or other Axon products/services.
- Funding-source records, including budget unit, expenditure account, grants, special funds, or other accounts.
- Sole-source justifications, competitive procurement/bid records, exemptions, staff reports, memoranda, and vendor-selection records.
- Board resolutions, agenda materials, staff reports, approvals, and other authorization records.
- Schedules of future payments, recurring charges, subscriptions, installments, or other contractual amounts.
The request covered January 1, 2023 through the date of the County’s search and specified that existing records and electronic database exports were requested rather than a newly created analysis.
The published EML is a privacy-sanitized derivative. The requester’s personal name/email are removed while the substantive request language is preserved.
