A source-driven collection within the Amador Transparency Project’s public archive, covering Amador County records concerning Flock Safety automated license plate readers, approval, contracts, policies, camera locations, sharing, system activity, and public-records requests.
Flock data exposure reveals additional Amador deployment detail
A new 27-device inventory reconstructs ACSO’s F#001–F#010 sequence, documents four planned Sutter Creek locations, eight unresolved Ione-area planned records, private/community cameras, and a Caltrans Wing PTZ, while separating information that was already public from information not located in prior public sources.

August 10 focused response
New response, new email, and a new location request
The five-item follow-up now has an agency response. One newly located email chain adds Board-preparation correspondence and documents a two-location installation issue.

County Counsel records the Sheriff’s no-records claim for private cameras, one new production, no additional competitor records, and a privilege objection on the legal-review item.

Updated Flock usage reports produced
The August 12 updated-log request is now satisfied after clarification of the requested record type. The September 2 production adds hotlist source-type, alert-topic, and 30-day vehicle-volume reports while preserving the August 24 administrative audit workbook as a separate record.
597 alerts in the clarified release
The two alert exports reconcile to 597 total alerts, including 162 official-hotlist hits.

Capabilities and expansion
What the records show Flock can offer
Product capability is not the same as an ACSO license or deployment. Each item below is labeled according to the evidence actually produced.
Fixed ALPR and Vehicle Fingerprint
The released records describe still-image ALPR reads, searchable vehicle characteristics, alerts, sharing, and historical searches. Exact image resolution, format, compression, and capture method remain unanswered.
Live Video and Traffic Analytics
A July 2025 recap offered live video on existing LPR poles and described near-real-time traffic analysis. The production does not show that ACSO purchased or enabled either product.
Flock Nova
Flock described Nova as combining LPR, video, CAD, RMS, public-record, and other investigative data. A demo was discussed, and a later account email referenced previous notes of ACSO interest.
Other products and integrations
Records reference possible in-car LPR integration and contain marketing or shared-network names associated with products such as Condor, Raven, PTZ, and VMS. Those references do not prove ACSO licensing or use.
