Changes to the archive, new records, and corrections.
Flock data-exposure report and 27-image Amador source archive prepared
The Flock Surveillance Collection adds a device-by-device review of Amador-area records captured from FlockSurveillance.org, including ACSO’s reconstructed ten-entry sequence, planned Sutter Creek and Ione-area records, private/community cameras, the Caltrans Pine Grove Wing PTZ, and a timeline of Flock’s public statements about the security incident. The screenshot archive preserves 27 device panels as crop-only derivatives with hashes and a source manifest.
Public Statements & Accountability collection launched
Two new reports document the February 2023 elected-official salary discussion and Sheriff Redman’s later Nextdoor statement, plus the July 29, 2026 exchange with Undersheriff Benov concerning a transportation-department contact. Original meeting sources are linked; the caption excerpt and three-email, privacy-redacted source package are separately labeled as archival derivatives.
Axon purchase records and five-year agreement published
County Counsel produced 14 attachments in response to the September 16 request for Axon contracts, invoices, product records, funding information, procurement material, Board approvals, and future-payment schedules. The archive adds a report comparing Sheriff Gary Redman’s archived “nope. Hate Axion.” Nextdoor comment with the County’s $436,598.51 five-year TASER 10 agreement and sole-source record.
Sheriff sex-offender records request confirmed complete
County Counsel’s September 21 response produced a 16-page packet containing Policy 327, local registration procedures, and DOJ forms. On September 25, after the requester asked whether the County considered its response complete, County Counsel confirmed that he had followed up with staff and there were no additional records. The separate Probation request remains unanswered.
AI data center Board discussion and transcript published
The AI Data Center Collection is now active. The archive adds the September 22 Board of Supervisors public-comment discussion, embedded video, 765-segment searchable working transcript, plain-text transcript download, and a neutral report. During the discussion, New York GreenCloud founder/CEO Joe Church said the company's current plan is to seek approval for a 16 MW data center and that a permit application is forthcoming. The Board took no formal action on a moratorium during this public-comment segment.
Gardens of Noor use permit denied by Planning Commission
The archive now preserves the September 8 Planning Commission hearing, a timestamped working transcript, and a new report explaining the appeal window and what could happen next. The Commission unanimously found the proposed Mitigated Negative Declaration inadequate and then unanimously denied UP-22;2-3.
The August 12 updated-log request is now marked satisfied after clarification of the requested report type. The September 2 production includes a detailed hotlist source-type CSV, an alerts-by-topic workbook, and a 30-day vehicle-volume workbook. The two alert exports independently total 597 alerts; the vehicle-volume workbook records 712,694 reads from August 2 through August 31.
The site now includes a third active collection, beginning with two August 26 CPRA requests to the Sheriff’s Office and Probation Department concerning registration, supervision, residence verification, compliance, enforcement, interagency coordination, and existing aggregate records.
Two August 26 public-records requests are now tracked in a dedicated collection: one to the Sheriff’s Office concerning registration, residence verification, compliance and enforcement; and one to Probation concerning supervision, residence verification, standard conditions, compliance, and interagency coordination. The Sheriff request was later completed; the Probation request remains pending.
Post-meeting Flock correspondence with three supervisors added
The archive now includes August 12–13 replies from Supervisors Jeff Brown, Pat Crew, and Dan Epperson following the August 11 Board discussion. Readable PDFs and redacted EML derivatives are published in the Flock collection; two private-residence Megan’s Law map screenshots from Brown’s email are intentionally omitted from the public derivatives.
County Counsel Greg Gillott responded to an August 26 follow-up on the July 30 policy-compliance notice, stating that Sheriff’s Office command staff are actively revising the ALPR policy, are following SB 1013 for possible additional changes, and will publish the revised policy once finalized.
Flock audit log and two-camera responses published
The archive now includes the Sheriff’s August 24 spreadsheet production, the accompanying withholding language, a neutral comparison showing a higher share of administrative delete rows in the newer period, and the response/clarification sequence concerning the two uninstalled camera locations.
Flock request tracker updated with two new requests and a follow-up
The archive now tracks the August 12 request for an updated Flock event log, the August 13 request for Flock-related social-media direct messages, the Sheriff’s August 18 no-responsive-records response to the social-media request, and the August 21 follow-up on the two remaining camera locations.
Board meeting transcripts and statement-vs-record review published
The archive now includes manually reviewed working transcripts for the February 25, 2025 and August 11, 2026 Board meetings, direct links to the original YouTube videos, and a new report comparing the Sheriff’s August presentation with contracts, policy, usage data, camera locations, sharing records, and the prior consent-calendar approval process.
Focused CPRA response and new email record published
County Counsel responded to the five-part July 28 request. The Sheriff reported no private-camera records, produced one newly located ACSO–Flock email chain, reported no additional competitor-research records, and County Counsel raised an attorney-client/work-product privilege objection for the legal-review item and said no additional responsive records were identified.
Single-item request filed for two remaining camera locations
The new request asks only for records sufficient to identify the planned or current location of each of the two installations referenced in the July 27 Flock email.
ALPR policy compliance notice added to the archive
A formal requester-authored notice asked the County to address four areas: public ALPR procedures, periodic audits, data-error correction, and retention/destruction. The archive now publishes a privacy-sanitized notice, electronic-transmission record, exhibits, and a separate source-linked report.
A five-part request was submitted addressing private-camera access, expansion products, missing outbound emails, competitor research, and constitutional or privacy review. It received a County Counsel response on August 10.
Request guide, pending request, and layout corrections
Fixed fragmented linked cards on the request and Board-meeting pages, added the pending vendor-selection request, added a prominent homepage quick-facts section, expanded the Resources page with Amador County submission steps and a copyable request template, and updated global navigation and footer text.
Initial static archive assembled
Published the first complete site bundle with 14 source files, six reports, request tracking, a timeline, document search, Board meeting coverage, and a camera-location page without a static map.
Future updates should identify added, replaced, or corrected files and preserve a versioned change log.
